How alerts work
- Pick a tender type, one or more districts or taluks, and any departments. One alert per line of work; keep as many as you need.
- Roughly 480 new tenders land on KPPP every day. BiddingView reads the portal every 30 minutes and holds every new tender against your alerts.
- Matches arrive as one morning email with the tender name, department, estimate and closing date, and as a push notification on the Android and iOS app.
- Every email carries a link to manage or pause the alert. No account is needed to receive one; an account lets you edit them anywhere.
What an alert catches that a portal search misses
The portal search finds the words in a tender's title. A BOQ alert here fires on the bill of quantities, so a road tender that carries the pipe work you supply reaches you even though "pipe" is nowhere in its name, and the email shows the BOQ line that matched.

Class I to Class IV contractors who cover a few districts and cannot check the portal every day; suppliers who want the tenders that need their material; engineers who track one department across the state.

- Are tender alerts free on BiddingView?
- Yes. Alerts by district, department and work type are free with an account. Pro adds the competition and bid-history panels on the tenders you are alerted to.
- How often are Karnataka tenders checked?
- Every 30 minutes, around the clock. The alert email goes out once each morning so it reads as one list, and the app notification arrives as soon as a match is seen.
- Can I get alerts for one taluk only?
- Yes. An alert can be as narrow as one taluk of one district, or as wide as the whole state.
