No cookies, no trackers
biddingview.com sets no cookies. It loads no advertising, analytics or social-media scripts — no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, nothing that follows you to other sites. Its fonts are served from biddingview.com itself, not from Google.
What the site keeps in your browser
Like any web app, the site keeps a few things in your browser’s own storage (localStorage and sessionStorage). Your sign-in goes with each request so we know it is you; the usage record and any work waiting to sync are sent to your account when you are signed in; everything else stays on your device.
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Your sign-in | Keeps you signed in. Sent to us with each request so we know it is you. | Until you sign out |
| Preferences — theme, tours and tips already seen, banners dismissed | So the site remembers how you like it. | Until you clear it |
| Drafts of forms you have not submitted, including sign-up and billing details | So a page refresh does not lose what you typed. | Up to 14 days |
| Work you keep on this device — saved tenders, contracts and paperwork drafts before they sync | So the site works offline and nothing is lost before it reaches your account. | Until it syncs or you clear it |
| The usage record waiting to be sent (screens visited, for how long) | Sent to your account when you are signed in; see the Privacy Policy. | Until sent |
You can clear all of it at any time from your browser’s settings for biddingview.com; you will be signed out, and nothing on your account is lost.
Other sites a page talks to
- Razorpay, only on the checkout, to take a payment you start. Razorpay’s own pages may set cookies under its own policy.
- OpenStreetMap, only where a map is shown, for the map tiles. It receives your IP address.
- Sentry, our error monitoring: when a page loads it records an anonymous session (so we can see how often pages fail), and when something fails it reports the error. Sent without your name or email; Sentry receives your IP address.
